This work is part of the Palmy Days Collection - inspired by the native Australian Fan Palm, of north QLD. The uses for their fibres are amazing - they were used as thatch, food wrappings & more. The colours in these works I kept soft, to keep with the breezy summer feeling and added touches of earth toned, boho inspired woven mat elements for styling.
